Professional Development Program for Early Childhood Teachers

Program Overview

The UBC International Professional Development Program for Early Childhood Teachers is designed for early childhood teachers to enhance their knowledge and skills in creating optimal and inclusive early learning environments. In addition to presentations and interactive seminars, the program includes observations and exchanges with teachers in early childhood settings and a guided study of North American teaching and learning resources designed to support development of creativity, imagination and self-regulated learning. A certification of participation is awarded upon successful completion of the program.

The cost for the academic program is based on a cohort model. Accommodation, medical insurance, local transportation, and cultural visits can be arranged and included in the package.
