Travels to India – November 2015

Dr. Thomas Sork, Senior Associate Dean, International will be visiting several universities in India this November.

In New Delhi, Dr. Sork will attend the annual FICCI Higher Education Summit and will speak at the International Institute of Adult and Lifelong Education. In addition, Dr. Sork’s visits will include:
  • Azim Premji University, Bangalore – to discuss teacher professional development
  • University of Delhi – to discuss joining the four-university partnership that offers the online Master’s in Adult Learning and Global Change
  • Baba Farid Group of Institutions – to discuss a cohort of the International Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Leadership certificate program
  • Higher education reform project in the state of Madhya Pradesh
  • Ambedkar University Delhi – to discuss their focus on Early Childhood Education and possibilities for collaboration with UBC
  • University of Mumbai, Academic Staff College, a regional centre for university faculty development
  • SNDT Women’s University – developing an online master’s degree with a focus on global educational leadership
