Adult Learning and Global Change (ALGC)

The ALGC program is designed for individuals who wish to improve their professional practice by understanding adult learning in the context of global change.

The University of British Columbia, in cooperation with the University of the Western Cape (South Africa), Linköping University (Sweden), and Australian Catholic University (Australia), offers an innovative online, coursework-only Master of Education (MEd) in Adult Learning and Global Change (ALGC).

The program courses will benefit those working with adults in formal and informal educational settings, including human resource development in business, industry, and government, activist organizations, international and/or community development, non-governmental organizations, healthcare, cultural, and professional organizations, to name a few.

Students enrolled in the two-year, 30-credit cohort program will develop a global perspectives, learning from international instructors from all four partner institutions.
